Penile surgery can enhance your penis size to help improve your confidence. You may consider penis enlargement if you’re dissatisfied with your penis size or think your penis looks disproportionately too small compared to your body.
Male enhancement procedures can help you gain length and width to feel more positive about your penis.
Depending on your goals and desired outcomes, there are a few different penile surgery procedures we may recommend. Whether you would like to increase penis length, width, or both, we have options available. These male enhancement options are all done on an outpatient basis with anesthesia to help you feel comfortable. There are three main ways we can help you enhance the look of your penis:
Fat transfer penile surgery can help you gain both width and length. On average, widening procedures can result in approximately 35% of girth gain. We can also repeat the procedure approximately three months later for up to 50% gains in penile width, depending on your specific circumstances and anatomical characteristics.
Fat transfer involves taking fat from other parts of your body and using it to increase penis size. Many patients choose to have fat removed from their love handles, stomach, or other problem areas for the procedure.
Once we remove the fat, we then use advanced methods to clean and filter out contaminants that can lead to inflammation and reabsorption. The purified fat is then injected into the shaft of your penis to help increase width or length.
There are several benefits to this type of cosmetic penile surgery. One of the main benefits is the extremely low risk for rejection. Unlike many other grafting methods and implants, I use your own fat tissue to enhance the look of your penis. Since it’s your own fat, rejection is unlikely. Taking this fat also means you can often rid yourself of adipose tissues in problem areas.
In addition, this type of penile surgery involves no incisions, which often means faster recovery and healing times. After surgery, there’s no need to take erection inhibiting medications and you can see the results almost immediately.
Also, this type of fat purification and transfer helps reduce the risk of lumps and irregularities on the shaft of the penis. However, it’s important to follow my aftercare instructions to help reduce the risk of clumping and unevenness.
Another male enhancement procedure is called suspensory ligament release. This type of penile surgery helps increase the length of your penis. On average, you may gain one to two inches in length of your flaccid penis.
Approximately one-third to one-half of the penis actually sits inside the body. The shaft of your penis is attached to the pubic bone by what is called the suspensory ligament. This ligament keeps part of the penis inside the body.
For suspensory ligament release penile surgery, we make a small V-shaped incision in your pubic area. Then, we sever the suspensory ligament to help lengthen the penis. This allows more of the penis to hang outside of the body. The procedure also alters the angle of your penis so it can hang lower. Results from suspensory ligament release can take four to six months after the procedure to fully appear, as post-operative stretching may help increase length.
However, it’s important to understand that the suspensory ligament can reattach itself. This can result in your penis healing in the same area it was before. To help reduce the risk of this complications, you must follow post-operative instructions and stretching exercises.
Another male enhancement procedure that can help your penis appear larger is liposuction and pubic tuck. This procedure involves removing fat from the pubic fat pad that sits around your penis, then removing the excess skin. This can be done on its own or we can combine it with suspensory ligament release.
Often, if you have a lot of adipose tissue and excess skin in the pubic area, this can hide the base of your penis and make it appear shorter. The goal of pubic liposuction is to help uncover the base of the penis.
Pubic tuck involves removing the excess skin, which can result in your penis appearing ½ to 1 inch longer. The incision for the pubic tuck is generally placed in the crease of the pubic area, similar to an abdominoplasty, though usually smaller. Over time, this scar will likely become less noticeable.
Many patients view this scar as a fair trade off for the additional length gain.
Also, weight gain can reduce or even reverse the results of your pubic liposuction and tuck. If you form more fat after the procedure, there is a risk that your body could deposit it back in the pubic area. Therefore, it’s important to keep this in mind and follow healthy diet and exercise habits to help prevent this issue.
Just like any other cosmetic procedure, penile surgery isn’t right for everyone. Therefore, before we proceed with penis enlargement surgery, it’s important to determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure you are interested in.
Just like any other surgery, there are risks for surgical and post-operative complications. A good candidate for penile surgery is in good overall health to help reduce these risks.
If you’re experiencing an infection or an uncontrolled or untreated medical condition, you may not be a good candidate for male enhancement procedures. For example, you may need to get high blood pressure under control with medications or other methods to help reduce surgical risks.
Also, certain lifestyle factors may increase your risk for complications, such as smoking or taking certain supplements. Before surgery, we ask that you stop smoking, as this can increase your risk for surgical bleeding and can also negatively impact healing.
Dietary supplements like fish oil and vitamin E can also increase the risk for bleeding, so we may ask that you stop these for a period of time before and after surgery to help reduce these risks. If you’re unable to make these changes, then penile surgery may not be the best option for you.
In addition, good candidates for penile surgery are in a good state of mind and want male enhancement for themselves, not others. They also have realistic expectations for the results of the procedure. Having penis enlargement surgery is a personal choice.
You shouldn’t be doing it for a partner or anyone else. Instead, you should want the procedure for you, to help enhance your confidence specifically related to penis size. It can be easy to assume that these procedures can fix life problems, but this isn’t the case. While they can have a profound effect on your confidence, it’s important to be realistic about your expectations.
Also, we want you to have realistic goals for your results. While penile surgery can help increase penis length and width, there are limitations. The average girth gain from fat transfer penile surgery is about 35%, but anatomical differences mean that the maximum degree of enlargement isn’t possible for everyone. The same is true for suspensory ligament release. While the average length gain is one to two inches, not everyone will have these results.
The first step toward penis enlargement surgery is scheduling a consultation to determine your options and whether you’re a good candidate for the procedure. Before surgery, you may need to do a few things to prepare, such as stop smoking or stop taking medications that increase your risk of surgical bleeding. We will discuss these steps during your penis enhancement consultation as they relate to your specific health status and medical history.
Additionally, you will need to arrange for some help the day of surgery. Because we perform penile surgery under general anesthesia, you will need a ride to and from our surgical center. Also, we recommend having someone around to keep an eye on you for 24 to 48 hours after surgery as the anesthesia wears off.
Also, you’ll want to prepare anything you will need during your recovery. For example, you may want to find a good resting place and gather any entertainment you might enjoy, such as books, magazines, or video games. Make sure you have loose fitting, comfortable clothing to wear as you recover so you can rest and relax after surgery.
You may also want to stock up on easy to prepare meals or meal prep ahead of time to make cooking easier. In addition, don’t forget to fill your painkiller prescription before operation day so you have them when you get home from surgery.
After penis enlargement surgery, there are several aftercare instructions to help prevent post-operative complications and also help your results. First, you will need to keep your penis wrapped with Coban for a period of time after surgery.
For fat transfer, this is usually one month to help prevent the fat from clumping. For ligament release, you may only need to keep it wrapped for one week. We will give you specific instructions for you after surgery.
Also, after fat transfer or ligament release penile surgery, you will need to perform stretching exercises. The day after surgery, you will need to stretch the penis for about 10 to 15 seconds at a time every two hours.
Six days after surgery, you can begin stretching for three to four minutes every two hours. In addition, two weeks after surgery, you will need to use a stretching device, gradually working up to two hours of stretching a day. This device is important for your results, whether you received fat transfer or ligament release surgery. For fat transfer, it helps prevent irregularities and clumping.
For ligament release, it helps prevent retraction and can help increase length gradually for up to six months.
In addition, you will need to avoid strenuous activity for a time after your male enhancement procedure. For example, no heavy lifting for at least four weeks. You will also need to avoid sexual activity, including masturbation, for four weeks after suspensory ligament release or six weeks after fat transfer.
Following post-operative instructions is important for your results and safety. We will discuss the specifics of aftercare based on your unique circumstances.
